The Premier 1A has the widest cabin of any light jet, which is why it comes up so often for Palm Beach clients who fly four or five people regularly and want elbow room on a two-hour leg. Roughly 1,430 nautical miles of range out of KDJT and 451 knots of cruise.
Beechcraft built the Premier with a composite fuselage, which allowed a wider cabin without the weight penalty of aluminum, on Williams FJ44-2A turbofans. Six seats, roughly 1,430 nautical miles of range and 451 knots of cruise. The type is certified for single-pilot operation, and its baggage compartment is small for the cabin size, which is worth knowing before a season arrival with a family’s luggage. Every Premier 1A we arrange flies with an operator certified under FAR Part 135, the FAA rules for on-demand, for-hire charter.

Why the Premier 1A Fits Palm Beach
The Boca and Delray commute. KBCT to Teterboro at roughly 900 nautical miles is a normal day for a Premier with three or four aboard. Put six in the seats and a week of luggage in the back and the operator will want to talk about weight before the day.
Island hops. Freeport at roughly 75 nautical miles, Marsh Harbour at roughly 160 and Nassau at roughly 175 are short enough that the Premier’s wide seats matter more to the passengers than its range does.
Day trips inside Florida and the near Southeast. Orlando at roughly 125 nautical miles, Tampa at roughly 150, Jacksonville at roughly 245 and Savannah at roughly 330 all work out of KDJT, Boca Raton or Witham Field at Stuart, with the aircraft home the same evening.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
