Palm Beach Jet Charter Safety

Aircraft, Operators, and Crew

Palm Beach Jet Charter works only with operators certified by the Federal Aviation Administration under FAR Part 135, the FAA standard for on-demand, for-hire charter. FAR Part 135 carries stricter operating, crew, and insurance requirements than FAR Part 91, which governs private, non-commercial flying that cannot legally be sold as charter. For group trips requiring airliner-size aircraft, we source operators certified under FAR Part 121, or the foreign equivalent on international legs.

Before presenting any aircraft for a trip, we confirm the operator’s FAA certification, review the operator’s safety and incident history, and verify that the pilots are current and qualified on the specific aircraft type you will be flying on. FAR Part 135 sets minimum crew requirements by aircraft type. We confirm the appropriate crew configuration for the aircraft you have selected and verify pilot qualifications against the requirements for that type. Third-party reporting does not cover every flight. Single-engine, single-pilot and certain foreign-operator flights fall outside it. Where a flight is covered and the operator participates, we review the ARGUS or Wyvern Wingman report before we put that aircraft in front of you.

Premium Wyvern Broker Member

As an additional step in our safety due diligence process, we maintain Premium Wyvern Broker Member status. This designation is held by fewer than 60 charter brokers in the world.

Air Charter Advisors Wyvern Registered Charter Broker verification badge

Air Charter Advisors holds Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, independently maintained and verified by Wyvern, a third-party aviation safety auditing organization. This credential supplements our internal vetting procedures and provides clients with an independently verifiable standard.

Transparency: Who We Are and How We Operate

Palm Beach Jet Charter is a broker, not an air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft. Every flight we arrange is operated by a FAR Part 135 or FAR Part 121 certified air carrier, or the foreign equivalent on international legs. Those operators maintain full operational control of the flight at all times. Under DOT Part 295, when we book a flight as your agent rather than as the operator, we put that arrangement in writing.

You are entrusting us with the safety and privacy of your passengers. We take that seriously in how we vet the operators we work with, and in how we vet the people on our own team. Every individual working with Palm Beach Jet Charter, including contractors with access to client information, is required to complete a pre-employment background screening. Those screenings include:

  • National Criminal Search
  • National Sex Offender Registry check
  • Terrorist Watch List (OFAC) check
  • Address History
  • Lawsuits, Judgments, Liens, and Bankruptcies search
  • FAA and Watercraft records

Your trip details and passenger information are shared only on a strict need-to-know basis. They are not sold and not shared beyond what is required to operate your flight.
