Passenger Air Charter

Palm Beach private jet charter runs across 135 aircraft in eleven categories, from a four-seat piston twin up to an airliner carrying well over a hundred passengers. The right aircraft is decided by how many people are traveling, how far, and what the airports at both ends can handle.

Categories and Hourly Rates

Rates below are industry hourly ranges across the aircraft we list in each category as of 9/2026. Every individual aircraft page carries its own rate, specifications, and gallery.

Choosing a Category for a Palm Beach Trip

Under about ninety minutes, turboprops and very light jets cover the Florida market and the near Bahamas without heavy-jet costs. Light and super light jets do most of the work between ninety minutes and three hours, which covers Palm Beach to the Northeast corridor and much of the Caribbean. Past three hours the cabin matters as much as the hourly rate, which is where midsize and heavy aircraft earn their cost. Long range jets cover Europe and South America nonstop, and VIP airliners handle large group travel.

Group size sets the floor. Nine passengers rules out most light jets on baggage before it rules them out on seats, which matters on a seasonal move with golf clubs and household items aboard. Past nineteen passengers the trip calls for an airliner-size aircraft, which operates under FAR Part 121 or the foreign equivalent rather than FAR Part 135.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Palm Beach Patterns We Plan Around

Season is the dominant scheduling variable in this market. Demand builds from November, peaks between January and April around the winter social and equestrian calendar, and unwinds through April and May. Aircraft availability tightens and positioning costs rise across that window, so booking early is worth more here than in most markets. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 with a September peak, and summer afternoons bring convective build-up that favors morning departures.
