General Questions

When can I reach you?
Anytime. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in every time zone. Whether you’re booking a morning departure from Trump International or troubleshooting a late-night connection overseas, someone will pick up.
Where is Palm Beach Jet Charter based?
We are a US-based private air charter broker, headquartered in the Philadelphia region, with team members and affiliates around the world. Our clients reach us by phone, email, and the quote form on this site. We serve the Palm Beach market, South Florida, and clients traveling to and from anywhere in the world. One of our advisors is always reachable at 1-888-987-5387.
Who do you typically work with?
We work with individuals, families, and corporate teams. Frequent use cases include leisure travel, seasonal South Florida arrivals and departures, corporate trips, professional sports and entertainment travel, cargo charter, and non-emergency medical transport. If your travel needs involve a private aircraft, we can absolutely help.
What makes Palm Beach Jet Charter different from other brokers?
Most charter brokers aren’t required to hold a license, carry insurance, or meet any qualification standard. We hold ourselves to standards that go beyond what anyone requires of us: third-party safety vetting on every eligible flight, NBAA membership since 2012, and Premium Wyvern Broker Member status. To see how that works in practice, visit our safety and vetting page.
What does having a dedicated advisor mean?
It means you have one person handling your trip from the first call through departure. Your advisor sources aircraft, presents options, handles the paperwork, communicates with the operator, and stays reachable while you’re traveling. You’re not bouncing between call center agents or waiting on an app.
What are airport slots, and do I need one?
Airport slots are prior permissions from an airport and air traffic control to land or depart during a high-traffic window. They become relevant for major events, when private aircraft are competing for limited ramp space at a busy field. Palm Beach sees this around the polo season, the Boat Show, and other concentrated events. We handle slot coordination when it’s required. Read more about airport slots here.
How do you handle my privacy?
Your trip details, passenger names, and itinerary are shared only on a strict need-to-know basis with the operator, crew, and handling staff required to operate your flight. We don’t sell client information and don’t discuss client travel with third parties.
Do you arrange supplemental lift for flight departments?
Yes. If your aircraft is down for maintenance or a simultaneous trip has exhausted your fleet, we can arrange a replacement. We’ve sourced supplemental aircraft on timelines as short as four to six hours. Fractional owners can also use charter to preserve their fractional hours for higher-value routes.
Can I share a private flight with strangers to reduce the cost?
Private charter, by law, can only be sold to one entity at a time. You can put a group together and charter a flight for everyone in it, but the contract is with one person, and that person takes on the financial and legal responsibility for the full booking. If you want a seat on a flight with people you don’t know, that’s covered by FAR Part 380 shared charter, which is a different service than what we provide.

Booking and Pre-Flight Questions

Which airports in Palm Beach can I fly from?
We arrange flights from all five airports serving the Palm Beach area: President Donald J. Trump International Airport (KDJT/DJT), formerly Palm Beach International Airport, in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton Airport (KBCT/BCT), Witham Field in Stuart (KSUA/SUA), Palm Beach County Park Airport at Lantana (KLNA/LNA), and North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport (F45). The right choice depends on your address, aircraft size, and destination. We’ll recommend the best option for your specific trip.
How much notice do I need to book?
Depending on the route and aircraft availability, we can often arrange a flight with as little as six hours’ notice. Busier periods (Palm Beach Season, polo finals, Boat Show weekend) compress availability faster, so booking earlier when you know the date is the right call.
How do I choose the right aircraft?
Your advisor will present options based on your departure airport, destination, number of passengers, and baggage load. We’ll explain the trade-offs between aircraft categories: light jet for short hops, midsize for the mid-Atlantic corridor, heavy for transcontinental or transatlantic legs, so you can make an informed choice. You can also browse aircraft categories on our aircraft pages.
Are there baggage limits on a private jet?
Yes, and they vary by aircraft. Each type has different baggage compartment dimensions and weight limits. If you’re bringing oversized items, instruments, sports equipment, or a significant amount of luggage, tell us upfront and we’ll factor it into the aircraft selection. Soft-sided bags pack more efficiently and leave less wasted space than hard cases.
Can you arrange ground transportation?
Yes. We can coordinate town cars, SUVs, and stretch vehicles to and from your departure airport. Let us know what you need when you book and we’ll include it in the trip planning.
Do you handle hotel or tour bookings?
We don’t arrange hotels or tours directly, but we’ve built relationships with service providers who can. If your trip includes ground arrangements you’d like help with, mention it when you call and we’ll point you toward the right people.
How do I pay for my private charter flight reservation?

Payment is accepted in the form of a bank wire transfer, ACH transfer, or major credit card. At this time, we do not accept any forms of cryptocurrency or virtual credit cards.

  • Bank Wire Transfer / ACH Payment discount: By electing to pay via Bank Wire Transfer or ACH Transfer, you will pay the amount quoted by your advisor, which includes a 5% cash payment discount.
  • Credit Card Payments: If you elect to pay via personal or corporate credit card, the 5% cash discount is removed. Additionally, please note that in the event of any cancellation or refund, credit card processing fees and the 5% price difference are retained by Air Charter Advisors as non-refundable administrative costs.
  • Incidental Guarantee: In addition to the payment method used for your flight, Air Charter Advisors requires a valid credit card on file as a guarantee for incidentals and operational extras (such as catering, ground transportation, pet cleaning fees, Wi-Fi, or de-icing). A temporary incidental hold (such as a $5,000 authorization) may be applied at the time of booking and released post-flight if no balances remain.

For additional questions regarding payment deadlines, wiring instructions, and cancellation policies, please reach out to your Air Charter Advisor directly or review your executed Charter Broker Agreement: Standard Terms & Conditions.

What documentation do I need?
A government-issued photo ID is required for all passengers. Passports are required for international travel and must be presented to the crew before boarding. If there are specific documentation requirements for your destination, your advisor will flag them during the booking process.
What happens after I confirm a booking?
You’ll receive a Charter Itinerary by email confirming your departure date, estimated departure time, flight segments, aircraft type, and any special requests from your booking. Your advisor remains your point of contact through departure. If anything changes before your flight, you’ll hear from us before you hear it from anyone else.
What happens if bad weather affects my flight?
Mother Nature throws curveballs, and we plan for them. Before your departure, your advisor monitors weather advisories along your route. The aircraft operator and Pilot in Command have final authority on takeoff and landing decisions. If delays are unavoidable, we’ll communicate them as early as possible and work through the options with you.

In-Flight Questions

Who actually operates my flight?
Palm Beach Jet Charter is a charter broker, not an air carrier. We don’t own or operate aircraft. Every flight we arrange is operated by a FAR Part 135 or FAR Part 121 certified air carrier, or the foreign equivalent on international legs. Those operators maintain full operational control of the flight. You’ll receive the operator name and tail number on your itinerary before departure.
How do you verify the flight crew?
We confirm that pilots are current and qualified on the specific aircraft type you’re flying. FAR Part 135 sets the minimum crew requirements by aircraft type, and we verify that the operator meets them. Where the operator participates in ARGUS or Wyvern auditing programs, we also pull the applicable report as part of our pre-flight review.
Where do I board at the airport?
At most airports, private passengers depart and arrive through a Fixed-Base Operator, or FBO. FBOs are separate from commercial terminals. They’re typically more comfortable (private lounges, no security lines) and designed specifically for private aviation. Your itinerary will specify the FBO you’ll use. At smaller airports without a dedicated FBO, there’s usually a general aviation terminal.
Do private jets have bathrooms?
It depends on the aircraft. Larger midsize and heavy jets typically have a fully enclosed lavatory. Some light jets have a semi-enclosed or curtained space. The smallest aircraft may have an emergency-only seat or none at all. If a lavatory is important to you, tell us when you book and we’ll make sure the aircraft category fits.
Can passengers smoke on board?
Yes, on certain aircraft with the right accommodations arranged in advance. If smoking is a requirement, let us know before we source the aircraft, and we’ll filter options to carriers and aircraft that permit it.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. From small breeds to large ones, private charter is one of the most practical ways to travel with a pet. Not all aircraft accept animals in the cabin, so mention your pet when you first call. We’ll find a carrier that accommodates them. Depending on breed, size, and trip length, there may be requirements around carriers and handling, and we’ll walk you through what applies.
Is there Wi-Fi and entertainment on board?

Depending on the size and capabilities of the specific aircraft selected, many private jets offer advanced in-flight amenities. Some features are complimentary, while others incur additional fees.

While not all aircraft feature the items below, we can arrange your charter flight to include them by request (availability varies by aircraft model, service areas, domestic versus international flights, and over-water routing):

  • Wi-Fi High-Speed Internet (such as Gogo for domestic routes or Starlink/Viasat for international and over-water connectivity)
  • Televisions
  • Smartphone Connectivity
  • Music and Entertainment Systems
  • Coffee / Espresso Machines & Microwaves

Important Note: Because amenities vary significantly by aircraft (smaller light jets may have limited cabin space, lack specialized galleys, or experience signal drops), please notify your dedicated advisor of any must-have tech or catering requirements prior to booking. Any added amenities, special requests, or third-party operational costs will be billed in accordance with your Charter Broker Agreement.

Will there be a flight attendant on board?
On some aircraft, a flight attendant is required by the operator. On others, it’s optional. If you’d prefer one and the aircraft doesn’t require it, that can often be arranged at an additional cost. Ask your advisor when you book.
