Bodyguard Security & Armored Transportation

High-net-worth individuals, executives, and public figures traveling through Palm Beach and South Florida sometimes require security services that extend beyond the aircraft. Palm Beach Jet Charter works alongside executive protection teams to coordinate the air logistics that fit a security-conscious travel plan.

Coordinating With Your Security Team

We do not provide security services directly. What we do is work alongside established executive protection teams to ensure the air component of the trip integrates cleanly with the ground security plan. That means working with the advance team on terminal access, identifying private FBO facilities that reduce public exposure, and coordinating departure and arrival times with the security schedule.

Private terminal departures from President Donald J. Trump International Airport (KDJT) keep the principal off the commercial concourse. We confirm the FBO has the private lounge and ramp access the security team requires before the flight is booked, not on arrival day.

Armored Vehicle Coordination

Arranging armored ground transportation at the destination is outside our direct operation, but we work with a network of service providers who specialize in executive ground security. We make the introduction and coordinate the timing so the vehicle is positioned when the aircraft arrives.

Aircraft Selection for Security Travel

Some security plans specify the number of support staff traveling on the aircraft alongside the principal. We size the aircraft to the full party, confirm the manifest against the operator’s requirements, and make sure the departure is on the timeline the security team has set. Every operator is certified under FAR Part 135, with pilot qualifications confirmed before the flight.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Palm Beach Patterns We Plan Around

Palm Beach runs on a calendar, and we plan around it. The season opens in November and holds through April, with December to March the sharpest stretch: the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington from January into late March, the charity gala circuit through February, the Palm Beach International Boat Show in mid-March, and polo finals running into April. Those weeks book out early, and much of the aircraft that winters here is already committed to owners who are in town. Summer is the other half of the picture. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September, and summer afternoons build convective weather along the coast most days, so morning departures are the clean window in those months. Your operator checks current weather and airspace notices before every departure, and we tell you early when a departure time looks tight.

Customs is worth settling early on anything international. President Donald J. Trump International is an airport of entry, while Boca Raton runs a user fee facility on set daytime hours from Thursday through Monday rather than around the clock. Palm Beach also carries standing federal airspace restrictions tied to the Mar-a-Lago estate, which your advisor factors into departure and arrival timing. Whether a particular aircraft can use a particular airport on your date is the operator’s performance calculation for that aircraft, that weight and that day.
