President Donald J. Trump International Airport (KDJT) sits just west of I-95 in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, roughly five miles from Palm Beach Island. It is reached directly from I-95, Southern Boulevard and Congress Avenue.
The airport was formerly Palm Beach International Airport. The ICAO identifier changed from KPBI to KDJT on July 9th, 2026 and the IATA code from PBI to DJT on August 18th, 2026, with FAA chart and database compliance required by October 7th, 2026. Older references, and some booking systems, still show the previous name and codes.
It is the primary airport for West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Wellington and the surrounding communities, and one of the three international airports serving South Florida alongside Fort Lauderdale (KFLL) and Miami (KMIA).

Larger aircraft need notice here. Anything with a wingspan over 171 feet requires 24 hours’ advance notice, and there are taxiway limits above 118 feet. Your advisor and the operator confirm this against the specific aircraft before the trip is booked.
Season matters as much as the airport. Demand runs from November through April and peaks between December and March, when a good deal of the locally based fleet is already committed. Whether a particular aircraft can use a particular runway on your date is the operator’s performance calculation for that aircraft, that weight and that day.
